We have been making steady progress with the prototype of Aubin: our innovative journey planner for autistic people, which allows travellers to plan journeys by the most convenient and stress-free route, not the fastest or cheapest.

As well as allowing passengers to plan routes which take accessibility into account, Aubin will allow passengers to plan routes that avoid crowded stations, or hot and deep underground lines such as the Northern line.

Our developers have been hard at work this year creating an ‘Active Journey’ function, which allows passengers to track their route and get disruption alerts and alternative travel plans during the journey if the rail network experiences problems.

We are planning to undertake initial trials during October and November this year, and are keen to talk to Accessibility Managers in Train Operating Companies about carrying out trails.

Our commercial team are looking to partner and ‘white label’ the Aubin app so if this is something that may be of interest please contact them via aubin@jnction.uk or call JNCTION on +44 (0) 20 3011 1008.
